I have a concise 5 year plan which schedules key personal career targets, in terms of​:

 

setting career destinations

developing creative capacities

establishing professional drivers​

 

This represents my vision of career development and centre from all the reflective practice and professional practice which I am currently undertaking and also aspirations which are directed and driven by my raw personal ambition.​ It therefore gives me an ultimate goal to strive towards.

 

I use this as a navigation aid, to which short term events I experience can be related and help me to form a long term vision for my career.

 

In the next year I plan to graduate from my course. After a further year after graduating, I aim to be working in a European country. I have in mind Barcelona or Switzerland, but my ultimate goal is to be working in a different European country other than England. By the end of the 5 years, I plan to have worked as far up the career ladder as is realistically possible, and emigrate to Australia or New Zealand. I believe in working as hard as possible to utimately get to where I want to be. Nothing you ever want is easy to get to.
